I’d love Medium’s feedback on the idea he’s suggesting about paying the writers from countries not covered by the incompetent Stripe. The author says says that the claps for unpaid writers should at least go towards paying their monthly membership fees of $5. If it is impossible for the management at Medium to adopt convenient platforms such as Payoneer, paypal among others.
The problem is that writers from third world countries which happily Stripe ignores feel that they pay membership fees and write quality content with no rewards.
If you rewarded this group of writers the quality of articles would skyrocket.
